About Me
Hello! My name is Laura Stone. I am the photographer and artist of Luma Photography. My background is in fine art drawing and painting, with a degree in art education. I have been teaching art since 2001. My interest in photography grew during 2020 after receiving a certificate in professional photography from the New York Institute of Photography. I have always enjoyed the process and art of picture taking. As a photographer, I hope to achieve a sense of design, and enjoy working with light and color. I am inspired by my travel experiences, nature, and the people around me. My current photography work includes still life and portraiture.
I am an avid outdoors woman, drive a Harley, an occasional runner, and film lover. I have had incredible opportunities to travel to interesting places and meet many different amazing people. My favorite places are the mountain trail and my art studio.
